Been grocery shopping daily for years. I like fresh food. Lately it's two or three times a day. The toilet paper section of the market says limit four rolls per customer. Only, there are no rolls. Fortunately, I bought a bunch of TP in January.

Funny, from my new place, I can see the Met Life sign atop what used to be the Pan Am building; but just the top of it as another building blocks the rest of that building.

Excellent post Freightman. CDC estimates are 1.5 to 2.5 individuals infected by each person with symptoms. Expected death estimates range from .25-1% of those infected. Influenza deaths are .1%.
Today CDC reports 10,442 COVID-19 cases with 150 deaths in US.
The medical community is certainly approaching this as though "this is no paltry manner and should be thought of and challenged in the strongest possible manner."

The casino near me shut down and the employees are unpaid once they run out of sick time. That’s what they get for telling me I can’t play the way I want to play. You mess with a 16 year customer and karma comes back to get you. Maybe if they hadn’t backed me off the coronavirus wouldn’t exist.

    hey Norm:

Can you give more options on the Blackjack "Weathermap"? make it so when we click on any of the particular details it shows all the casinos or at least displays them..... it's far too "generalized" at the moment.

    Thanks

Click on the link under to drill down to state, then decks, then rules. But, I can't go to the casino level without violating CBJN copyright. If you have CBJN, you can drill down further in CVBJ.

Half of employees in my local casinos are part time. The casinos just let them go. They may re-hire them four months later if the virus crisis is solved. But these people can only live on government unemployed benefits. This is the most common in casino states as CNBC reported that unemployed is the most Google search word in these states.

Speaking of which, the April 2020 report will most likely be unchanged due to COVID19.

I would be surprised if one could get updated stats, as many of the casinos in the US are shuttered.
