    BJA Strategy

    Hello,

I have noticed that at 13 vs 2 there is a 0 in the chart. The deviation is Hit at -1. With a 0 in the chart, does this mean anything between 0 and -1 will be considered -1? (TC = -.4 will be considered -1 in the software?)

    Regards....

Depends on whether you have it set to flooring, truncation, or rounding.

Also using BJA strategy at running count 0, 16 vs 10 CVBJ telling me to stand. I’m pretty sure you hit and stand only with any negative count.

Hit. Options-Settings-True Count tab, turn on Use running count with zero index.

That may be BJA strategy, but if it is, it's wrong. CVBJ is correct.

Sorry I said it wrong. BJA strategy 16 vs 10 the deviation is stand at any positive running count.

Still not quite right. Stand at any non-negative count; i.e., stand at RC = 0 also.

From my reading of Colin's book, BJA uses flooring for true count conversion.

Note that here, BJA refers to Blackjack Apprentice and not Blackjack Attack. It's unfortunate that the two are so similar when reduced to acronyms. We need to be careful. I will always use BJA3 when referring to the latest edition of Don's book.

No. Stand at any positive running count. RC=0 you hit. That’s the issue I was having. CVBJ was telling me to stand but you hit at a RC 0 with a 16 vs 10. Didn’t try the option in settings Norm said yet. I’m still a newbie but that’s how I understand it. Let me if it sounds right.

Colin's strategy uses running counts for zero indices.
