yes...a bit...but, a classic case of "won the battle, but lost the war" though as, obviously, had to produce ID...and since I am who I am...upon presenting my W2G, "Sharky, no more blackjack here for you"....really!? odds are 16 in a mill

c'mon man....if that's my "lucky day", please make it "life changing"...powerball, lotto type..... 7+ figures...my luck, measly 100k

Ha taking 100K out of that casino in one day doesn't really sound so bad. Depending on stakes you play obviously. Unless it affected your play at other places.

after backing me off the table and telling me i am no longer welcomed on their premises, security walked me to the cage. i had a cashier that literally cashed out my chips for me counting all my purple chips ($500) as orange chips ($1,000). i had 4 purple and 4 black and he stated out loud "4400". I stood there for about 15 minutes waiting for them to actually cash me out (they were trying to figure out who i was). then he got on the phone and confirmed "4400" then paid me 4400 and security escorted me to my car.

In this scenario, would all of you have accepted this overpay?
May the Variance be with you.

In my many years of playing I don't believe I ever willingly left a table with TC+3. If I did, I would think it was time to retire myself from playing.

No, because the cashier will be on the hook for it and/or lose her job.

If it happened during a color-up at the table, that would be different.

Often, for that amount, the cashier calls out “verify”, waits for someone to confirm payout. I can’t honestly say I would not have walked away. The one time I was over paid, on my next visit, the pit boss came over and told me that a mistake had been made, I simply paid the couple hundred back. I did not ask for video or proof, said I was surprised when I got hom3 that I had more money than expected, I expected, now I know why. He thanked me.

No. The cashier is a person who probably has a family to support and works a shitty job trying to do so. She's not the big bad casino.

Curious, when was this???....nowadays (10+ years) large denomination chips have embedded rfid tech...they are placed on a reader where they are authenticated and tallied...I cant believe something like this is even plausible....having said that...I've been to some pretty shotty places, even recently...so I guess anything is possible
