They did call to verify. And still over paid me lol

That has to be one of the couple states I've never played BJ...I do recall about a dozen or so years ago I checked out a casino outside of LA that had a game where each player took a turn as the 'banker', I believe there may even have been an ante, but when the PC kept selling me that "it's just like blackjack, but you cant bust"...I couldn't leave fast enough

I'm a freshman in college and me and my boys from back home stopped at Isleta Casino in New Mexico on our way back from hiking the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim-to-rim over winter break this year. It felt so nice to just collapse into the hotel bed after hiking in the snow all day the week before.

If you are a freshman in college, reading BJ forums and playing BJ will disrupt your education.

In Wendover at a $25 SD table, the time I bought in for $200 and colored up $950. I was running a 1 to 3 spread, possibly betting $100 if the count was really good. Even broke $1000 for a bot, but walked away when I started losing. When the dealer said "Color Up 950 Black Out" some of the pit critters seemed to look around and do a double take, like they wondered what just happened.

Yes, it happens. Today, I went to a local casino, 6 deck shoe, $15 miinimum, count kept going up. I played just one shoe.I went from one hand to 2 x $15, kept losing, went to 2 x $100, dealer gets a BJ, place another 2 x $100, dealer gets another BJ, count is still up but I ran out of money (Down $800). I asked a ploppy if they would wait, went to the ATM behind me but someone else was at it and the dealer finished the shoe. I had pulled out $500 from ATM. Pissed off, I decided to go home.

As I was walking by the high limit area, saw the sole $25 DD table open. Penetration is bad (at best 50%) and it’s why I seldom play there. I started playing with the $500 I pulled out, went another $325 down, just $125 left. With a TC +2, a $100 bet out, not even enough left to double, I got a 17 vs a dealer up card of 8, thought I would surely lose but dealer had a 3 under, thought I was surely going to lose and dealer finds a 6, we tie. Next hand, I get A,7 against a dealer 3, $100 out, I double for less, put my last two green chips out. I win! After that, I kept winning the next two shoes, went up to $1350, left casino a $50 winner in about one hour there. I had played 1 6 deck shoe, down $800, played 4-5 DD shoes ( since they cut off 50%j I played about 5 decks, recouped myv$1300 plus $50.

Strane variance. I should have had more money on me.

I know one local card counter who takes $100 to the casino. If he loses it he goes home if he wins, he plays longer. Does it matter? You could take $10k, Wong out after half a shoe because count tanked. He Wong’s out, goes home.

TC+4 counts and over are rare... you don’t want to run dry on those and leave. I under calculated my trip role for a while and lost 120 units in one shoe and left it at TC +6. After that looked at trip roll and corrected the problem, I’ll be happy just to take 20K “needlessly” in my pocket only to beat the house down for $11K with a “measly” $1K buy in... the peace of mind is worth it.

So yes, it matters. If you run dry in a +EV shoe you are wasting time and thus EV

Uggg he is no counter if he only takes $100 to the casino. Are you serious when you ask these questions still? At this point, I think you must be a spammer or have some other motive.

There you go courting a ban. It’s best you stop commenting on my post. Just move on. Norm, note my polite request.

One time back when I was a ploppy we got so drunk at the table that they wanted to kick us out but we were betting so much. They stopped serving us drinks. I was playing two hands and decided to split every pair I got just to make people mad. I split 10’s to 4 separate hands and I split 5’s to 4 separate hands. The dealer was showing an ace and he flipped over a 6. He hit for a 9 and then another 9. Everyone was going crazy. I won $1600.
