    Just where is Oklahoma?

(Duplicate post here because not sure whether Stuff is subscription or free so forgive me)

OK; humor me and humorous, I hope. First, I saw this youtube video:

Generated a lot of comments and was funny.

If you guys get the freebie mags, Midwest Gaming or Southern Gaming, I always wanted to received the Southern Gaming issue........it's more aligned to OK than Midwest to me.............BUT the advertisers or two big casinos listed in their index from Oklahoma are in the MIDWEST Gaming issue. And without my request, they started sending the Midwest issues to me v the Southern one. (I truly believe Louisiana, Tenn, and southern casinos are closer to OK than Indiana or Michigan casinos which seem to be the bulk of their coverage.) And if anyone is familiar with WinStar Casino..........one of the largest casino floors in the world.......it's just north of the Texas border, which is DEFINITELY NOT MIDWEST. LOL

So just as a question and hope for response, just WHERE is Oklahoma in your guys' minds? And should any trip reports or stuff about Oklahoma (which has beaucoup casinos...........though all Native American ones) be posted in the Midwest section or the Southern section in this forum?????? Just WHERE THE HELL AM I?

CBJN puts it in the Midwest. I tend to agree with that. After all, it's just south of Kansas.

Sorry, but Oklahoma is not part of the Midwest. I think it is just Indian territory.

Here is the official classification of each state by region.

And just north of Texas.........LOL And never heard anyone call TX Midwest

Actually, I do consider KS Midwest. I really do not consider OK Midwest. Though there are arguments Tulsa is Midwest and Oklahoma City is Southern.
