Have you ever ratted an AP? Is ratting on AP's intolerable, or sometimes acceptable?

Not really card counters, but AP's using an underhanded coupon loophole, making $2,000-10,000/mo in Asia.

    See Eliot Jacobson: https://www.888casino.com/blog/casin...-of-match-play

"There is no end to the variety of ways casinos find to lose money to advantage players through their match play coupons."

I don't use this, and some of these guys fucked me, but I'm at odds with myself about burning this. I don't want to burn it for every single one of the guys using it, but some of them did really betray my trust and their dignity and fuck me over. These guys are miscreants and low lifes, who I'd rather not be empowered.

This sounds like something a real pariah would do.

Did they screw you over on the coupon play somehow, or screw you over otherwise and killing the coupons for them is revenge? If you can say. I'm just curious, I remember when you were researching this.

Didn't screw me on the coupon play, but really betrayed me in an unrelated way. I used this, but moved onto a better opportunity--an honest living, which I much prefer.

These guys are not casino degenerates, but they are low lifes with low level criminality and dishonest as themes of their lives, and they only stumbled upon this by accident. Every other AP I met who did this moved on to other opportunities. There are some other guys who stumbled upon this who are decent and that's what's stopping me from killing it. But the play is bound to end, I'm just wondering if I actually want to be the one to do it. I don't like the thought of these scoundrels making this. I can send them back to scrubbing toilets tomorrow, and they deserve every second of it. I hate people who you try to help and turn out to try to take advantage of you.

If you screw them like they did you, it makes you like them. Just get over it, don’t let them occupy your head space. Forget them, period.

    The positive:

You get revenge on some lowlifes who will be back to cleaning toilets eventually whether or not you take action

    The negatives:
Revenge may not be that sweet since the play is bound to end anyway.
You will be hurting a few people you have nothing against.
You may get a rep as a guy who busted an AP play out of spite. Most people won't care to hear your justification for it.

That's how I would think it through. Up to you if it's worth it or not.

Grosjean talked about killing a play once for a similar reason, so you would be in good company if you did, anyway.

They may be scumbags, but are they worse than the scumbags running that casino? I just can't imagine a scenario where I would do anything to help a casino.

Many AP's have instant animosity towards any other AP that is playing "Their" same play.
If everyone burned a play when they didn't like toughs benefiting from it, almost every play would dry up.

People have extremely strong views about "Ratting" on someone or "Burning" a game.
To illustrate my point there was a recent thread on Wizard of Vegas, where the poster gave away an AP slot move. Keep in mind the poster created this AP move that he no longer played. He exposed it on WOV. It is very likely that no one was doing this move prior to him exposing it, and in his view it had been "dead" for many years. However there were members that were furious by this.

Several long time quality posters quit the forum over this move being exposed.

About Blackjack: The Forum

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
