    Damn, I Was Ready to Curse H&R Block, But Might Curse 21Forme Instead

    Well, I can't blame this on 21forme as I actually agreed with him, and so did the draft form of 2019 Sch A instructions by the IRS. However, the final 2019 Sch A instructions is back to 7.5%.
    "You can deduct only the part of your medical and dental expenses that exceeds 7.5% of the amount of your adjusted gross income on Form 1040 or 1040-SR, line 8b."

    Congress must of just passed some law changing things. Anybody know what the law was called?

    Anyway, I was staying up late entering as much information as I have into H&R Block program and thought they made a mistake. I wasn't going to itemize for sure if it was 10% over AGI but at 7.5% I might have to look into it.

    I probably still won't be able to deduct my medical. It sucks to make too much money...

    BTW, I hope you didn't miss the snow removal deduction.
