Anyone have good online reading for beating a ASM?

I know it sounds pointless to most, but it's not for me. I want to get 10 hours in 1/month at a BJ table to get all the casino comps. My goal is to play a breakeven game or if possible just do the best I can and gdt a very slightly advtanageous game. This is fun to me and I dont mind chatting and getting free drinks while counting.

Right now I count each round, if I see RC +5 in the last 8 hands I spread 3 spots (max allowed). RC+4 I play 1 spot. The other 90% of the time I just sit out and just talk to people.

I also try counting sometimes at another casino, but this casino has only ASM games and I really just want the comps and fun of not losing while I get them.

Do you mean ASM or CSM? If you mean playing against an ASM, just play it like a hand shuffle. If you mean playing against a CSM, you are better off looking for an HC game.

Thanks, DH, great link. I trust his numbers, though haven't run the numbers myself. Do other analysts agree with these numbers?

The CSM game I found has a 0.28% house edge, and the comps are very good if I get enough table hours--the comps are what I'm after, but I just want to try to stay +EV while I get them.

What about variations? At RC+5 in the last 16 cards, that's a TC of less than 1 for a 6-deck game. The only index with a number of 0 I know if is stay on 16. How mentions nothing about variations in his post.

Follow what Dog Hand gave you but do it at a full table and play as few hands as possible (i.e. don't spread to more than one hand, sit out as much as you can get away with). The advantage play you're after is the comps, while minimizing the playing risk. I don't think you'll be able to get much of an edge on the CSM game so use the blackjack version of the 4-corners offense and milk the clock.

I was doing that Milk the Clock strategy and they started giving me 0 points for my last two sessions.

I changed strategies, now I do like what I said in the OP. I sit out every hand below RC +4, then start spreading and raising at +5 RC and higher since I'm in +EV range based on what I've read. I just chat and drink at the table in-between. This has gotten me a lot of points in the next two sessions (my last two) despite sitting out 90% of hands. I also openly help people play better basic strategy if they ask about it. I feel like no casino staff cares or even notices me.

i know only a little about csm, the cards that came out are more likely to come out again over cards you have not seen.
