    CVBJ True Count

    Hello,

I just started using CVBJ and noticed the True Count calculation is off. For instance, the discard stats indicate that the Remaining Decks is 4, Running Count is 10 but the True Count is showing 1 instead of 2.

I’m wondering if I might have changed something in the True Count settings unintentionally that lead to this problem.

The following is my current True Count settings :
    True Count Resolution: Full Deck
    Last Deck Resolution: Half Deck
    True Count Division: Round
    Deck Est.: Round

What changes do I have to make to get accurate TC in CVBJ?

    Thank you!

Sounds like the strategy divides by half-decks remaining. Which playing strategy?

I'm using the playing strategy I have modified (User Strategy)

What does the playing strategy specify on the Counts page for TC divisor? (NOT the TC resolution on the TC Calc page.)

Go to File-Backup, create a backup file and email to [email protected]. Also, where were you looking to see decks remaining, RC and TC?

    Playing Strategy->Define/Edit Strategy->User Strategy->Counts->True Count Divisor.
BTW, I have changed the True Count Divior to No Adjustment from Full decks remaining and it seems like the issue is solved.

That doesn't make sense. Then TC would equal RC.

The logs look OK. Immediately after getting a result you didn't expect, send me another backup and tell me what you saw, where you saw it, and what you expected.

Sent another email with the new Backup File.
Keep getting inaccurate TC. I must be using settings that's causing this to happen but can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong here..

After reading your email I switched the True Count Division to Truncate and it makes sense now. I must have been very accustomed to using Truncting for TC and went it was set at Round, it confused me a bit.Thank you sir.
