how close am i to getting the tap?

whenever i sit down to play at my local casino a suit, usually the same guy just happens to come out of the back and walk around the pit i'm playing in. he isn't hostile or anything, he just watches me play. he usually doesn't say anything or if he does it's pretty friendly.. anyway, am i being paranoid or is this reasonable suspicion? should i lay low for a little bit? i suspect that he's fairly higher up because he doesn't stay on the floor for very long. he never seems to be working the pit, he just periodically steps out onto the floor every once in a while

No way to know. Sometimes when you think the tap is coming, it's a host offering you a meal or a room. Try playing on a different shift, or on his days off, if you can ascertain them.

If he is trying to evaluate your game then he need not come to the floor, the surveillance cameras are all that is needed. Coming to the floor is likely an attempt to "slow your roll", as they say.

If you are playing anything less than green chips, you are likely just paranoid.
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!

If playing red chips, then you are probably being paranoid.
However, if some guy always appears, and is watching you play? Then obviously I would be very concerned if it's a place that you want to keep.

You are very close to the tap in my opinion.

I had a lady pitboss pretty much stalk me. She'd be pleasant and offer me perks and over ratings. Finally found out she was lonely and just trying to drum up a date.

Does he watch others play? If so, who are they? Does he go to the floor/pit when you're not playing?
