Freightman’s got a fan, I am one too but do remember, because of his Ace side counting technique, you shouldn’t shake hands with him!

    I wash.
Mind you, I’m reminded of a guy who was in the washroom the same time as me, took a whiz, didn’t wash his hands but put them under the dryer. He then sat down at my table. I referenced the foregoing to him, asked him if he peed on his hands, mentioned his failure to wash and requested, upon his confirmation, that he sit elsewhere. Another friend.

We were practicing our card counting tonight when this dude sits down, and I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure he started with $100. So he starts being really loud, causing somewhat of a scene while also predicting cards as the dealer was about to deal them. Sometimes he was off by one with the card he predicted and was dealt, but other times the card he was shouting out landed one spot down from him. We noticed also he was doing it when the count was low and yet he was winning. He also managed to bet when he got the lucky ladies side bet. Not only that but he was pretending to not know how much the chips were worth along with drinking and saying, “it’s not a calculation, it’s gambling.”. Oh and he tried to put the cut card like ten cards from the back but the dealer wouldn’t let him so made him cut it again. I just thought it was odd he was pocketing chips in a sneaky way while placing his bigger bets while the count was negative, and sometimes also pretending to get phone calls. From what I could catch, he made at least $700 but could have easily been more.

What in in the world was this guy doing? Did he have a counting system or was he just insane?
I say bullshit to your entire post. If you think you can pick up card carding in a week, I truly doubt it. Most folks can't even master basic strategy in that amount of time. It takes a lot of practice to master card counting and even more to play with index numbers.

I strongly doubt the guy predicting the next card was even an advantage player. I've seen folks attempt these things before. He just got lucky and won $700. Certainly no big deal. In 2017 my average session win was $618 so I had to have a lot of wins over $700 to come out at an average of $700 and that is at the red chip level. Ploppies do it often.

No, I’m being truthful here. We are self employed and have been studying for hours a day since we have no other obligations. It doesn’t take a genius with that much time on their hands to assign a 1, 0, or -1 to certain cards.

Just there. Actually, I did play a lower limit table with a couple, a couple of weeks ago. Silver reef is a few miles closer to the Canadian border on the west side if the highway, this was a few miles before that on the east side if the Highway.

The couple left after an idiot sat down. Didn’t drink anything.

There was a guy at a table, he always said "I knew it" either he lost or win. He talked too muck to the point gets me annoying so I said "If I found a person who knows in advance a hand could win or lost I would mortgage my house and be partner with that person. He/she does not have to do any thing but tell me in advance next hand will be win or lost. I take the lost but split the win with that person. Just 55% accuracy is good"

    To Think

Delete Sunday night. Delete reference to race. Identifiable to both. Also, fwiw, I just might know the guy, and his name. Send an email to

    [email protected]

I’ll describe him. Be interesting if it’s the same guy
