Funny story, the casino that backed me off, Virgin River was sued for about $200000 several years ago for false imprisonment in their hotel plus refusal to cash about $250 in chips. The two APs were Hole Carding, but they didn't know they had been Hole Carded until the trial. So essentially they just got upset that they lost big time and the Mesquite Police Department was corrupt and completely on their side.

    Excellent advice.

Once upon a time... I played at a casino over a couple of summers. Played unrated, but eventually the local players, and floor knew me well. Still never gave my real name. (I had already been trespassed from the chain)Then one day, I won a small 5 figure sum over a few hours of time. So, a rather hot looking floor gal whom I got along with very well, came over and quietly whispered in my ear, that "management already decided they would not cash my chips without showing ID". So I played a few more hands. Then colored up and left. Came back a couple of months later and cashed all of the chips out over the span of two shifts. With no problems. And still play there to this day.

On more than one occasion the floor has came over and politely told me what was going down. In my younger days I didn't always catch on to what they were telling me. But now...

If you can be on polite terms with the floor it can definitely help. Years ago I was backed off by a friendly floor person with "you can play any other game, just not BJ" line, so I knew I wasn't getting trespassed. I am pretty sure the EITS had called down to the pit. I said "Damn, I was only going to play for a little while, I am meeting my Mother and Girlfriend (now my wife) here for the show later tonight, can you at least give me a food comp while I wait?" He promptly wrote me a $100 comp. I think the Prime Rib was about $12.99 at the time, and they had several nice wines in the $15-$20 range, so at least I got lots of positive EV from my Girlfriend and Mom for the back-off. Three dinners with three bottles of wine sure takes the sting out of getting backed off. I was also able to play there on future trips with no problems. I still agree that leaving quietly is the best option, but it would have been far too much negative EV to have my Mom and GF show up at the theatre without me being there with the tickets, so I had to stay.

In theory they kept the Jackpot and her bankroll because she wasn't supposed to be there in the first place due to her being on the self excluded list. Hmm. I guess they do have a valid point in keeping the Jackpot but keeping the money she came in with could be considered theft. She could have sued them for theft of her bankroll money she came in with. There was actually no good reason for them to take her bankroll money too. They had every right not to pay the Jackpot but stealing her bankroll money crossed the line.

unless i have a ton of chips i'm gonna cash them out right then and there
in a lot of places you'll have a harder time cashing them out later coming off the street

    i agree completely

last year i got backed off at a vegas casino which is not affiliated with anyone and only had 1 double deck game so i didn't expect to last long anyway. this brain dead goon security guard told me he wanted to see my id i told him no politely three or four times and he kept asking then told me i have to give it to him in a very angry voice.

so after being polite i told him to go to hell and he looked like he wanted to punch me in the face.i would have been more than happy with that outcome.

There was a Card Counter(I think he was a Card Counter , I'll just say he was a "King," who said he hoped he would purposely get hit by a Casino Staff Member so he could sue them for big money.

They want you to loose everything. They would have you walking out stark naked if they could.

I've heard a lot of people hole card successfully without the Casino noticing.
