## Can CVDATA handle two different counting systems in a sim ?

I know how to use CVDATA to sim a game with one counting system. To improve the ev further, I am thinking to use Wong Halves(BC = 0.99) as betting strategy and Uston APC( PE=0.67, IC=0.90) as playing strategy.

Can CVDATA handle two different counting systems in a sim ? How to do it ?

James

Use the Betting side count on the Betting screen. The Help explains how to do this. The side count is the difference between the counting systems.

Another question about TC CALC, 8 deck game, if the running count is 12 and the no of remaining cards is 243, and the setting is as below image, how the CVDATA calculate the TC ?

TC CALC.jpg

Below is my calculation, remaining deck = 243/52 = 4.67, rounding to 5 deck, TC = 12/5 = 2.4, rounding TC = 2, correct ?

Maybe Halves + Unbalanced Ten is better ?

Are you doing this as an academic exercise or are you going to actually try keeping two multi-level counts, plus an Ace side count for UAPC, in your head at once? My brain would explode, but if you can do it, more power (and money) to you!

I am doing it with other team members . . . .

Ken Uston had one team member keep a Ten- count for insurance only, while other members played from the Revere APC '73, or the Uston APC is a better substitute. One person did not do both.

Sounds like hazing for new members. "Put the newb on insurance count duty."

I guess at high enough stakes, the EV might be worth someone's time, but what a boring job!
