Others listening dur8n* backoff through security microphones during

My last backoff, quite recent in fact, was interesting when considering that the issues herein mentioned, have not to the best of my knowledge, been previously discussed. Further, there was a bit of a twist here, one which may or may not be familiar to some, though a first for me.

Further, let me differentiate between backoffs by suits, backoffs by security, and backoffs by pit critters. None of my Vegas backoffs involved security, mentioned only as a point of interest and information. Beyond this, all of the items herein mentioned involve the tap by security, and some go back several years, therefore, some of the details may be a bit sketchy. The issues being open microphones, likely to EITS.

Local backoff 1 - very polite and professional, with games manager looking on - whom I knew, and made the point that it was nothing personal. In fact, security mgr made it a point that I would not be escorted to the cash cage, so as not to embarrass me - possibly due to instruction by games mgr. No indication from my perspective, that anyone was listening in. This was a 20 year ban, though I’m thinking its time to take a stab at it, as gm is no longer there. Total casino ban.

Local Backoff 2 - also, polite enough. In fact the guard knew me. No indication that anyone was listening in. He told me that he didn’t know what was going on, he was simply told to bounce me. Lots of people will remember me here, and I don’t plan on returning anytime soon - back off was permanent, though not in writing.

Local backoff 3 - pretty rude, clearly with someone, likely surveillance, listening in. Very evident, since EITS gave additional directions to security personnel, who escorted me to cage, and stood behind me, like mafia enforcers, and escorted me out. My ban is over, however, it is now csm city with hand dealt shoes only at special events, with limited stakes.

Out of town backoff 1 - EITS actually asked security dude what I said, as my eavesdropper missed it. That was an official permanent ban from the building - they forgot, or didn’t know to mention other Properties. What was interesting about this backoff, is that the goon first tried to say it was for rudeness to some unknown individual, either a year, possibly 2 years prior, that he was a tall skinny white guy. After telling him how dumb he sounded, to get his act straight, that I could have been approached during the following 20-40 sessions, his supervisor, the pant suited lady, said they also had a picture of me Counting cards - whatever that means.

Out of town backoff 2 - I just got flyered all over this city. This trip was toast before it really got started. Other than their typical try to get a rating card, before the bounce, these guys, as is common, wanted my ID. I “apparently resembled someone “ previously excluded, who was not supposed to be there. I was never backed off, though on a previous visit, the cage mgr was called as I approached the cage - he looked behind to see me. I was then advised that the house wanted my name and address to track my business. I did tell them that I valued my privacy more than their need to have my personal info.

In any event, the lobotomized brain dead security dude further implied that I was a criminal. In fact, he said as much. I challenged him (some things have to be challenged, such as this, or some of the forum bullshit here that abounds). I told him that if he believed I was a criminal, or that if he thought I was about to commit a criminal act, that it was his duty and obligation to call the cops. I urged him to go ahead and do so. The shithead backed down. I was permanently banned (and here’s the twist), unless I was prepared to show ID. Granted, for me, this translates to a permanent ban.

Not likely to respond further, though this thread should be interesting.

Freightman, do you get angry if you get stopped from playing? It pisses me off and I have only had a very few backoffs. It’s upsetting to go to the trouble of getting to a casino where you may not have won before, be told you can’t play.

Okay, so much for not responding further. No, I don’t get angry. I know what’s coming. If I’m getting the boot, I try to have some fun with it. I’m not going to say what, since that would identify me. The goons are usually quite predictable, though this past time, it was predictability coupled with being rude, and they were being rude before I was having fun.

I think I have your email somewhere. If I can easily find it, I’ll tell you what I do. If I don’t, and you still want to know, you have my email somewhere.

I have experienced all of these and many more.

My best advice is when you encounter a backoff of any type, say nothing, do not provide ID, do not cash chips, leave the building expeditously (walk fast, don't run) and without any reponse. Do not go to cage as it provides an extended opportunity to press you for other issue and may include confiscating your chips.

In summary, shut up and leave the property. Come back for car and send someone with your chips later.

Yes it pisses me off but I am very careful to maintain my composure as I have no intention of letting them control how I feel.
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!

Hmmm, my second response on the thread. No, I didn’t sense that, but I did catch the scent of unwashed twat. I thought it best not to tell her.

Hmm, my 3rd response to the thread. I’m glad you responded. Stealth, as per almost always usual, your comments are excellent, spot on, and should be adhered to by most. I should add that one should NOT follow my modus operandi, that they’re few who can pull off the gambit, and further, that it is well practiced and rehearsed.

I won’t go into specifics. I will say that I should have placed a caveat on my comments.

Good advice, as long as I have a trustful person available to convert my chips to money later. But what to do when I am travelling alone?
I think when the security guided me to the cage, I would have no choice but cash in/out (how is it called?) my chips, especially when I'm banned from the property - otherwise my chips would be lost for sure.
