To me it's not clear what the consequences of "losing the chain" are. Was Zee banned forever from entering this casino or from playing BJ at this casino or chain? If yes, then maybe they took a photo of him and keep it in their records. In that case, it might be dangerous to get back in order to play unrated, since if some pit boss or facial recognition identifies him as the banned guy, they could call it trespassing (?)

I just can't judge this from remote due to lack of experience but these sort of questions I have in mind. Maybe it's really wise to stay only at hotels where you don't play AP techniques, for they also could kick you out of the room if they detect you're an AP? Thoughts for a possible future trip of mine.

Correct! By losing the chain, I meant that I was unlikely to get any comps and likely to draw more, rather than less attention, with a card. Of course, next year, when I return, they would not remember me and I don’t intend to use card.

As for their having and using using my picture, I have been in OSN for a couple of years already.

Don, maybe times have changed or maybe I am too low level a player who makes too many playing errors and who does not warrant that much attention. For example, at an MGM chain, a few years back, I was walking from the cage after cashing in just $400 when a suit fell in step with me, told me I cannot play at his casino. I have since, played there a few times, very short sessions.

However, as your experience was, I happen to have a similar experience at one of their casinos, they recognized me, surprised me by using my name, told me I could play any other table game but not BJ. However, I could and did simply work over to their other casino, adjacent to them and play with no issues.

And $25 DD games, my max bet never exceeded $125, played about 20 hours, I ended up winning $1300, expenses of $600, profit of $700 and I was satisfied. Without the comped nights and several comped meals, I would have ended up with just $250 profits.
Zee, looks like you are doing quite well again. Do you think you are going to pull out a winning year?

Hovering at just $3k for the year, that is probably $12 an hour. I would have been far up but I chose to visit 2 local casinos that used to counter measure me. They were dealing 6 decks with a notch cutting off just 26 cards, did not seem worried about me anymore and I kept thinking I ought to win here and I kept losing. Probably lost $8k there before I realized that I should stop trying to beat these fixed ASM’s.

I won’t get further into it because it’s not tolerated on this forum. I named the casinos hoping some AP’s would go test it out.

I have been out of the game for awhile and I am not familiar with some of these new terms and devices. Can somebody tell me what 6 deck with Notch is? Also I see ASM 100% everywhere so why is that a problem? Also..I found a CSM machine but it has a discard rack. I thought with all CSM the discards went right back into the machine so this is a bit different. I assume this is not countable but not sure.

A notch in the shoe is used as a template for cut card placement, so the cut is standardized from dealer to dealer.

There is no problem with ASMs. Some voodoo thinkers who don't understand the variance of the game believe the cards are clumped by the machine to give the house a higher edge.

Hey. Ok yeah I have not noticed anything odd with any of the ASM machines. Seems like its minus just as often as plus. I have not run into any of these Notch games yet but will look for it. I am still curious on this CSM with discard rack however.

It's possible that house policy is to put the first round into the discard tray and then recycle everything after the second hand. It's also possible that, sometimes, the shoe is changed and the table is used for a hand-shuffled game or a game with an ASM, in which case you would obviously need a discard tray on the table.

I've seen some casinos where they feed the cards back in after each hand and others where they let up to one deck accumulate before feeding them back in.

I will play a shoe and see what the process is. I did notice that this machine is not at any of the other BJ tables. I am not sure if they wheel these out when it gets busy or what. This particular casino is very paranoid. On the DD game its D10, no mid shoe, 2 spots max and only 2x prior sizing jump allowed.

What is your hourly EV? How much above or below? If you don't mind sharing, just curious.
