That does help. Were you aware of the sensors at the front door or were they inconspicuous?

Has anyone tried taking a chip home and opening it up to see if it had a sensor?

RFID sensors CAN be quite small and inconspicuous. If it's an active sensor in the chip, the range can be detected very far away. But I doubt there are active sensors in the chips.

Simply blocking a sensor at the door is trivially easy. Look at shoplifters. (Note that I am not advocating shoplifting at all.)

rfid chips are embedded in "money" chips, mostly from green value and up. they also know how much you bet each and all hands without dealers yelling "Check play or black action". I got back off on return trip when PB said "we know how you play".

I rathole green chips IN THE THOUSANDS at my home store. On top of my mind I'm confident I've ratholed over 20k in green chips and I have yet to get a tap in the shoulder. Yeah I'll rathole palming a big stack when coloring up which is easy and effective against the camera, but sometimes I just squirrell away a whole $500 stack of green chips when the pit and dealer are looking away. I'm fully aware the EITS might be looking, but the problem is more often not having enough personnel to look at the cammeras.

    Just my .02

Do they care? In Asia, I take all my chips home worth 10k usd since I will be returning in a few days anyway. Never had issues for so many years

Does that sound like exaggeration to anyone else?

He doesn't give a time frame for ratholing THOUSANDS, but it's certainly possible over time and/or multiple sessions. Ratholing a $500 stack of greens would surely be noticed unless he has 4-5K in green on the table.

Not necessarily, Zee. This picture was from a little over 4 years ago (middle of 2015 I think). I used to keep an inventory of green/black chips from casinos I was playing often. As time went on and my stakes grew, my chip inventory got bigger. But I was mostly holding purples/blacks from casinos much further from home. So his story is definitely plausible.

To me it is questionable if it's possible to palm a stack of 20 green chips in your hand so easily.
10 chips yes, but 20 chips? Especially if you have no extra-large hands.

Ok, my timeframe is 9 months, I’m positive I’ve rahotled 10k in that timeframe.

Yeah I only palm 5 chips at most and I can assure you looks discreet enough. But lately I’ve rathole whole stacks of $500 just see how much I can get away with.

My particular casino is far far away from Vegas, but after being backed off from a couple at Vegas... I firmly believe my casino has pretty clueless surveillance for counters.

That or they are still hoping for my “bad run”

As long as you can get away with... but the more chips you grab at once, the more you must take care not to spill them over the table accidentally :-)
