Casino Verite Feature idea - API and module system

I had an idea the other night of a type of scripting language that would command the CV system - CVData/CVCX in particular - and allow people to create simulations of their wildest dreams with parameters and events limited only by imagination. All of the CV simulation functions would call at the entry, per-hand / per-loop / per-iteration (depending on what the function is doing) and at exit any call-backs that are registered into it for that given function. Combined with an exported and documented API, this would provide a route to implementing such a language.

This could also apply to CVBJ in allowing manipulation of a lot of the UI and back-end.

    Just an idea.

    Regards,

The only way I can think of calling an external routine without recompilation (and a couple dozen licenses) would be via OLE using a Component Object Model. That would be very difficult to use.
