What is the formula used in online calculator for simple Ror?

Don't know which one Norm chose. See BJA3, pp. 141-42. Page 112 is more precise, but there is very little difference between the two.

    Thanks.
I still try to understand why simple RoR is not the same as say 1 million hands trip Ror and especially why it is below.

It only appens with "high" EV like 5% from page 116
But, as a reminder, it does never happen with my calculator wich use strictly formulas from page 113

Maybe Norm can troubleshoot this and see what's going on.

Norm, in case you do not trust my Excel spreadsheet, which I would understand perfectly ...

Again, Monsieur G. and I are not saying that there isn't a problem, but when you use more normal bankrolls with e.v.s and s.d.s that are common to blackjack, is there still a problem?

I need to put this thread on ignore. Why can't you get an answer?

Waiting for Norm to check the code on the calculator, to see if all is well.

CVCX uses the page 112 formula, not page 113. At some past point, I used the 113 formula but decided p112 was generally better for blackjack. Realize that all such formulas are estimates. CVData can provide better answers via simulation.
