    Well, the trip ruin formula is very different as it includes the normal cumulative distribution function, which requires a bit of 'calculus' if you don't have the luxury of Excel functions.

    Ahh, I remember now. When we did the work for page 141, page 112 worked better; so I changed it in CVCX.

    Note that the s.d. is wrong in the sense that you can't get an edge if you don't spread, and if you spread, the s.d. is much greater than 1.15 per hand.
