CVCX Not Working? Or is it me

I have been using CVDATA for a couple days now and have gotten the hang of it, but CVCX and have not been able to get it to work. Whenever I start a new sim, the below is the inevitable result. Whenever I click on any of the tabs on the top, it just says that no valid sim present. Any ideas?

To amplify Norm's answer, your choice of "Decks" from the drop-down list must be among the checked choices in the "Included Decks" area, and your choice of "Rules" from the drop-down list must be among the checked choices in the "Included Rules" area.
