New casino (Golden Mesa, in Guymon OK) conditions?

    Hi all,

I'm on personal travel, and while listening to the radio, an ad came on for a new casino that just opened.

It would only add an hour or two to my return home, and I was wondering if anyone knew if they offered 3:2 games, or collected ante, or what. CBJN has no data on it. It appears they just opened last week...

Any knowledge? Also is it worth going to see if there are new/sloppy dealers, even if they only offer 6:5 or collect ante?

Just for the fun of it, I called them to see what they have to offer in the line of blackjack. First of all, the blackjack tables are only open 4 days a week. Thur-Sun. The killer would be the 50 cent ante they charge and they don't have any ante free days. The games don't sound too bad. They are all six deck, 3:2, no double deck, but S17. It is a brand new casino and the grand opening was a week ago. It must be pretty small as the cost was only 25 million to build.

Thanks MWP! Id be able to swing by when the pits are open, at least. But 50 cents a hand for the privilege of playing 6 or 8 deck? Sheesh...that's what, $25/hr just to sit at the table...?

    I don't think it's worth swinging by.

That's what I was hoping... I thought maybe because they're a brand new casino, they will have sloppy dealers... But I'm not sure if I want to make the detour on that possibility. It will add an extra hour or so to my trip home, and put me on some back roads in Kansas...

Forgot to mention, that on the days they are open, the blackjack tables don't open until 2:00 p.m.

Ouch. Guess I definitely won't be going. If I did go, I'd have to be there by like 10AM to get home at a reasonable time and prepare for work the next day.
