    ReKO and H17

    Hello,
With H17, some playing variations as 11 vs Ace are @+2 like in S17
    Why ?
BS (alway double) has a better SCORE and is easier to play

I would guess it’s for simplicity (RE stands for Really Easy).

I created a chart comparing 11vA with DD @+2 and always DD for REKO H17, and the lines are so close, you could only see the line on top.

    Ok
I asked the question because I found a slight advantage and easier to stick to BS
    Maybe not in 6 deck.

Absolutely not. But the comment seems to be ironic. Reminds me of the ever-yesterday European people sticking forever to manual gear change as opposed to acknowledging the advantages of automatic cars.

Yep. All you need is every initial running count and corresponding bet ramp for every game you want to play and you're all set.

    That's it !
With 8 deck there is a small advantage to "always double"
With 6 deck advantage is tiny but to "double @+2"

Penetration would also affect this, particularly with an unbalanced count.

    Yes.
    And it's exactly like 12vs4

    In Modern Blackjack:
There is one variation for eight decks. We remove the 12v4 variation and just use Basic Strategy for this play. It turns out that with eight decks, that variation does not work well with REKO.
As you do not treat H17/8 decks it is normal that you do not talk about it.

REKO is a compromise strategy. REKO-F goes into more detail. Frankly, 8D H17 is a seriously poor game without some other gain.
