Since you are new here...any advice on how the one2six OTS models are beatable? And if you (or who knows who else) have had your hands on these machines...why would we trust what you have to say about them? Just asking.

Apparently, the moderator has either changed his position DRAMATICALLY or is just being sarcastic. Norm are you now open to the fact that the possibility may exist that tampering with shuffling machines can occur on occasion? What happened to the guy that said things like:

    "
thousands of people would need to know this, and the penalties would be severe "

Are you intentionally dense? Who said anything about tampering with the machine having anything to do with gaining an edge?

The thought by the seller was an implication that those machines can be pre-set "or altered" by certain patterns., and Norm went right along with it.

You really need reading comprehension. Read it a few more times.

It was implied that there is some kind of flaw either built into those type of machines or a possible altering, or presetting that is exploitable. Making the mixing process of the cards not truly random. Either way if the players who play those machines are not getting a truly random shuffle and it turns out that the manufacturer was at fault even not knowing makes the game crooked and liable.

You're such a nudnick. Have you not ever bothered to read ExCAA or even Discount Gaming about how these machines can be exploited? That's just the tip of the iceberg. A manufacturing or algorithmic flaw isn't in any way at odds with what Norm and others have said in the past. Should I repeat that for you?

Why do you have to pick on us 2 pack a day smokers? That's pretty close to doxxing me, be careful.

I have had some correspondance in the recent past with st0rm0r on this subject. All he is implying is that once you fully understand how the (unaltered) machines work, you can devise ways to beat them. There is no implication of player-hostile programming here.

Of course! I can't believe this needs to be spelled out.

Ok, the discussion is about CSM but it does not matter if it was all about ASM there are some AP's out there able to exploit both kinds. Done through tracking of patterns to which evidentially Norm you are well aware of and are protecting the play itself a noble thing to do. But, you also slam anyone with a thought that something may be wrong with those voodoo points of views of yours, along with warnings to stop talking nonsense on the General Board. Thanks for the clarification.

BoSox, I have no idea what you are talking about. There is no "cheat mode" in the One2Six. That does not mean that it can't be beaten. My problem is with those that repeatedly claim that the casinos are using a cheat mode in ASMs without any evidence other than empirical.

That post in question has been deleted. Just for the record though it was you yourself that previously posted that information at an earlier date.

Exactly, because of some people figuring out an exploitable error.

It would be almost impossible for any one individual to satisfactorily provide clear and cut evidence that would hold up to questioning. Norm, you know this. Although, more, and more people come forward with their own stories which mean nothing to you.

You are dead wrong. Firstly, I said nothing about an exploitable "error." Further, it absolutely is possible to present clear cut evidence of actual AP methods. And, there are millions of people that make all sorts of claims about voodoo systems that we ignore. The rule is simple. Don't make libelous accusations against people here without evidence. And, I don't mean empirical evidence. Empirical evidence means evidence gleaned from experience only. Say that you go to George Burns' doctor. George Burns lived a century and smoked cigars constantly. Should his Doctor advise you to smoke for long life? Empirical evidence would say yes.

Look, if someone has actual evidence of cheating, bring it here. But, "I been cheated" is a line used by millions of losers. And that crap doesn't belong on an AP site.
