    Flucuation of hourly at N0

My hourly will vary by 100% now since I only have about 10,000 hands in for this venture. For those that tracking hourly and know they are at N0 from history I would wonder about what kind of deviation in hourly you were having at that point playing a H17 5/6 DAS NRSA NS 6D game w two others. I would think by N0 time it would not vary much more than a few percent per 1000 hands but I could be wrong.

Can you repeat your question....if it even is a question?

I think (and "cuts you up" is certainly free to correct my assumption) what the op is asking can be illustrated in this manner:

Say after 10,000 rounds (call it 100 hours) you've earned $1,000: that means that for the first 10K rounds, your win rate averaged $10/hr.

Now you play another 1K rounds (so 10 more hours) in which you go on a tear and earn $1,200: thus, for the last 10 hours you've been winning at a rate of $120/hr.

If you now calculate your overall hourly win rate, it has changed from $10 (after 10K rounds) to $20 (for the whole 11K rounds): it has increased by 100% in only 1,000 rounds.

Such a large change in overall hourly win rate is less likely as the total number of rounds increases. For example, if your $10/hr win rate was for the first 50K rounds (I'm guessing that is close to N0 for the game & conditions in the op), then to increase it to $20/hr overall in just 1K more rounds would require you to win $5,200 in those 1K rounds. On the other hand, if instead rounds 50K to 51K have you winning $1,200 (like we supposed earlier), your overall win rate would increase from $10/hr to $12.1569.../hr: an increase of only 21%.

    Hope this helps!

Still don't get what's the problem or question. It should be clear that after playing lots of hours, your average win rate cannot rapidly change anymore (law of large numbers).

Exactly. This seemed to be an arithmetic question from post #1.

In simply term N0 is the number of hands need to overcome one standard deviation in Blackjack. You would want your N0 as low as possible. With H17 5/6 DAS NRSA NS 6D game I would spread to 1-20 playing two hands.
