    Shuffle tracking training realistic?

Do you guys think shuffle tracking is a realistic skill that can be acquired? Or better yet, actually implemented in a live casinos shuffle routine with all the strips they perform. In theory this would probably be the most valuable skill an AP can acquire because casinos really wouldn't have counter measures and you can bet big in what appears to be a major house advantage by just tracking one money slug when the opportunity arises. I'm on the fence about working this into my training routine. I'm just worried trying to acquire this skill would be unnecessarily devastating to my bankroll in relation to the amount of opportunities that actually arise to where it can be used.

If you’re not damned good at it, it could be very costly. That being said, it is advantageous to observe ASM’s and hand shuffles to see what patterns emerge shoe after shoe. Gives you something to think about, I’m sure.

Last night I noticed the dealers shuffled what appeared to be the same way every time. Broke the shoe down to the same amount of piles, performed a consistent amount of riffles and strips. It would take some deep training and persistence but it does seem this routine could be reverse engineered to a certain degree.

It can be acquired, but finding a shuffle that's trackable is the hard part.

This is no big problem. For 2 level USA shuffle you must use segment tracking, and removal effect for DD.

    p.s.
In fact, this technology is owned by units in the world. Very to much pseudo trackers...

    Gramazeka, hello.

Would you please rephrase and elaborate on what your second sentence (“2 level USA shuffle...”) means?

After you get the Snyder book, you'll have a better sense of things. Here's a small tip. If there are a lot of strips, you may be looking at a workable shuffle for slug-tracking purposes.

Here's a big tip. (Others have implied the same and are right.) The net tracking result of all serious, winning card counters in the past 30 years is probably negative.

That's not something I'm saying because I'm an awesome pro tracker trying to dissuade you, in order to protect games. There ain't many games. And they protect themselves.

No, 2 level shuffle this is a classic expression for trackers that means mixing in two steps.

This makes a lot of sense. I think I just need to stick to mastering the fundamentals of AP. As I gain experience I realize the game has a lot of deep levels of understanding to learn. I first thought all I had to do is learn to count and be off and running. I realize there is an art to ramping up bets and remaining incognito. Last night for instance, I caught a good count after a couple rounds, ramped from 1 unity to 5 units and then two rounds later back to one unit. When I got home and examined my game, I realized this was a weak amateurish way to ramp. It was extremely obvious, and it stuck out like a sore thumb compared to how other players were playing. I had an empty spot next to me, I think the proper thing would of been to spread to two hands and lessen the ramp. The play would of been a little more disguised.

    +1
At the same time, these pseudo trackers managed to spoil a bunch of sweet casino promotions and conditions, which, with a skillful approach, would live for decades.
