    Regions that database APs

What regions are most prone to putting APs into the national databases? I think I heard Las Vegas is #1, is that right? How do Pennsylvania, Atlantic City, and New England compare? Would a cruise ship ever do it?

I feel like most regions in the country will enter you into either OSN or Biometrica. I have entries from most of the regions I’ve played in with a few exceptions. You really aren’t safe anywhere lol. And I don’t think Vegas is particularly worse than most other regions when it comes to national databases. I just think they’re sweatier than most other areas and quicker to back you off. But I think you’re just as likely to land in OSN/Biometrica in places like Biloxi, St Louis, KC, Pennsylvania, Michigan, etc., etc. as you would be in Vegas. Possibly worse in certain regions.

How being put on databases affects you varies too. I am in the OSN, put there by a casino mostly because I was playing their $25 min SD games. Since then, I still play at their sister properties, play in Las Vegas and other places, get comps too.

i think that if you walk in to a casino, play red chip games and short sessions, you have no serious issues. You can also go play HL rooms but have to be more selective, observe, play conservatory and you might get away with it.

I think, if you get them suspicious, they may go check the database and then you are in trouble. The bigger the stakes, the quicker they check/verify.

It’s a lot tougher to check if they don’t have your name. Wait...that’s right..... they have their name.

My last backoff, they didn’t have my name, got a picture, which means they were REALLY checking me out - was my own damned fault.

I'm curious how stores check databases without a name. Unless stores have followed me to the parking lot to get my plate then through illegal means queried my license plate in law enforcement databases, I am not named in a database.

So if I walk into a store, how would they check me in the database?

I think they use a keyword type search on your body type, hair, or lack of it, and other visible physical attributes.

Wonder how they caught this guy?

I'm sure that's a way to search, but how many fit that description that they'd have to weed through?

Someone in security could make a killing writing a modern book explaining their tactics, especially if they've worked at different stores in different regions.

Agree with Stealth...and you think it's illegal to grab your plate, and registration, and name from the parking lot?
