    So ashamed

I did it. Sat down at a table, played several hands before I realized it was a CSM.

Since I saw some accumulation in the discard tray, I didn't pick up on it.

Then after a few hands, and the discard tray was empty, but she was still dealing, I realized I'd been had! And actually raised my bet thinking I had a positive situation.

I had a counter sit at our CSM about a year ago not realizing it wasn't a shoe either. Thank goodness for his blindness because he left after 5 minutes when he finally saw the CSM. Left us to our 10% edge while he sauntered off to his 1% game.

Care to elaborate either here or in a PM?

Nothing to be ashamed of. I did it at least twice. Once in Laughlin and just this year had it happen again in Wendover. Never expected to see a csm in Wendover.

Nugget. 6 decks. When I was there they only had two tables open, and the first table was csm. The next one was regular single deck.

I think just about every counter has sat and played at a CSM game or a 6:5 game before realizing the mistake.

I remember you sharing that. And Refinery I think said how could you mistake that big black box for the dealer's hand, which was funny.

I saw it and simply assumed it was some weird card dispenser since there was a discard tray in use.

This was in Tunica at the Horseshoe. That place blows.
