if you have shown a profit every year which you probably have she has no good reason to doubt you

No, I haven't made a profit every year. In the beginning, I had many losing years. My last losing year was back in 2007 when I end up losing $1,440 at blackjack after playing 42 times for the year. Back then, I was still working and my play was mostly on Friday or Sat nights in crowded conditions. For year 2007 sessions won was only 52% my worst ever.

Now this year has truly went to hell. My session win has dropped to only 53%. Its now tied for second worst. I have lost on 7 out of the last 9 times I played. My hourly win for this year has now dropped to just a little over $17 an hour. My goal for the year has changed from shooting for a 5 figure win to just having a winning year.

Zee, I sure hope you are having a better year than me.

I truly don't mean this to sound so bad, MWP, but are you sure you're still playing a winning game? You've posted a lot of ploppy-talk in the last six months or so and it happens to coincide with you losing. Maybe you're not getting the money out there.

My answer to you: Stop obsessing over short term results. If one day or one trip makes such a difference to you, either play more or quit altogether.

Who knows the reason why. These losses have been at casinos I don't normally play, but have played at in the past. I'm a little more cautious with a casino I'm not too familiar with as I don't know their tolerance level.

However, in my last couple of casino sessions it was the big bets that did me in. Here is just how bad it was. After the second hand on a DD game the running count was plus 10. The next round would be the last before the shuffle. I put out two large bets. I'm not going to say how large, but they were large enough that if I won both of them instead of losing both, it would have been enough for a winning session.

Yeah, no big cards came out again. I think maybe one 20 and the rest were shit hands. I can't remember what I had. If any of my hands were pat it was a shit hand like 17. I think the dealer had a small card and pulled a 20. Lost them both and the 50% cut card comes out. If I won the hands it would have been enough for a winning session.

"After the second hand on a DD game...then the next round would be the last before the shuffle?" How bad exactly is the pen in that game you were playing?
