Yes, and if you do so while ignoring the number of decks remaining, as I did, you're making a mistake. A rookie one.

As a rookie, you bet $2000? Wonder what you bet now that you are not a rookie?

A deuce is the dealer's ace.

    BlackjackPro,

From the description you gave, you appear to have been playing a "no hole card" game, because you acted (chose "Stand") before the dealer checked for BJ.

For NHC, the Wizard of Odds gives the EV (Expected Value) for each matchup: see this link for a 6D game:

    https://wizardofodds.com/games/black.../euro-6ds17r4/

On the WoO's table, 10,10 vs. 10 has a Stand EV of 0.438046. This means that, before the dealer checked for BJ, your hand was worth $876.09: far less than the $2000 you believed.

    Hope this helps!

Player's Club Cards are a good idea since you get points, comps, and free play. Plus they help a lot in Win/Loss statenents. They are especially good in Las Vegas, which has a lot of Casinos, thus lots of free play for New Members.
