Thank you for the comprehensive though dismal report, not that I am about to journey there.

I'm now hearing that the casino free parking has been extended until the end of this month. Use the savings to buy one of their $64 lobster rolls.

I ran into a dozen or so former Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun and Twin River employees embarking on their new careers.

The original name of the casino was Wynn Boston Harbor. It was changed because of the sexual allegations against you know who. The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is very strict except when it comes to themselves.

Per state law this facility is smoke free.

Smoke free, overpriced food, charging for parking, ridiculous table limits, shitty games, incompetent dealers, excessive security...with every new tidbit of info this place looks less like a casino and more like a multi billion dollar mistake soon to resemble a ghost town when the smoke clears.

The penny slot players from New Hampshire are happy that they no longer have to drive to Connecticut. Let's see if they can support the place.

What about alcohol? Free drinks at the tables like CT or have to pay like in RI?

Alcohol is free. Last call is 4:00 am. Same exception was given to MGM Springfield.

Also, the poker room has a lot of juicy games running.

I had my first look at the Boston (Everett) Encore today. Arrived there about 11:30am after a 2 hour ride from CT. 10 BJ tables open. All 6-5, 8 deck, Hit S17. 7 tables with a $25 minimum and 3 with $15. Every table was filled. Those Bostonians love their 6-5 BJ. I'd heard about the terrible BJ conditions but I wanted to see the place for myself and compare it to LV's Wynn offerings. It's pretty. That's about it for a positive review. I asked if there were any 3-2 tables and was told they would be opening at a nearby pit at 1:00pm. To kill some time I took a stroll around their harbor walk. Nicely landscaped but the view across the dirty Mystic River is just industrial. I ate an overpriced burger at one of their restaurants to kill even more time. By now it was 1:15 and I went to check the 3-2 tables. They were just opening 4 tables; the chip trays were still locked, the decks of cards were just being opened and the washing had not yet begun. It was going to be awhile before the action began. I decided not to stick around but I asked about the table limits and they told me 2 tables would be $25 and the other 2 $50. Aside from the BJ tables the rest of the casino was very quiet. Not much action at the slots. Oh.... the self-parking is now totally free. The garage holds 1600 cars and the electronic sign on the entrance said there were 860 spots available as I drove in. It was about the same number as I left. You can make of that what you will.

On certain days (usually Weds - Sun), and certain times (sometime in the afternoon until approximately 8:00 pm), they do have 3:2 BJ tables open, $25 min. Otherwise, it is a lot of 6:5 BJ, or $50 min 3:2 BJ. I haven't scouted there during the middle of the night.
