No, this is called gambler's fallacy. It's voodoo.

    no?
Of course not! You really don't understand anything about the math do you? But that isn't the problem. The problem is that you come to a forum, with dozens of experts on the game, and instead of seeking advice and information, you are pretentious enough to actually try to win converts by spouting your nonsense. Not once do you write, "What am I missing? I'd like to learn, so can someone please explain where I'm going wrong."

You deserve what, ultimately, you will get, and that's to go broke.

Reminds me of the guy who jumped off a 20 story building, and as he passed each floor was heard to say: "So far, so good."

isnt the game closest to 21 without going over? if i have 13 and the next card is 8 wouldnt i be wrong to not hit and take it. if i happen to stay and i still wind up winning i would say either way is ok. how is this not a way to keep track during a shoe and find out the mistakes you made during it?

Obviously. It's called nextcarding. But, what's your point? Unless you actually know the next card, this is meaningless.

Yes, it's wrong to hit if you 'know' the next card is an eight. You should DOUBLE.

If you know “that much” you sure can double. Taking a card anyway, right?!
