It's entertaining googling these moronic system sellers and reading old threads. I like this quote from Michael Shackleford:

"Regarding 21st Century Blackjack I can not come up with one positive thing to say. The only difference between that book and a bucket of shit is a bucket."

You're living proof that there are many more horse's asses in the world than there are horses. People here tried to help you and all you did was repeat your utter nonsense. Now, people have to hope that you get what you deserve, which is to go broke.

Most folks who are dumb go broke. A very small number get lucky - and try to convince other dumb folks of their self-perceived brilliance. Then, more dumb people go broke...... Some dumb folks manage to sell dumb books, further perpetuating dumbness - and grifting money off even more dumb people - who go broke.

Even the publisher of 21st Century Blackjack privately told me he told the author several times his system didn't work.

LMEAO you people crack me up.... just because you kill yourselves working everytime you go to the casino for negligible results and even an entire month or longer of nothing but losing like the OP said in this thread, you'd rather crucify those like myself who are SUCCESSFUL in using progressions such as my WT progression rather than give them praise.

Again, when will you morons realize that HUMANS will never play millions and millions of hands and thus will not see "long term" results? Bec when you do, maybe you will finally accept that what I am doing absolutely works for the SHORT TERM.

    See: http://www.blackjack-scams.com/html/prog__systems.html

    And important point therein:

It is oft asked what does running one billion hands matter when I won't play that many in my entire life. The point is to increase the accuracy of the estimate of what will happen in the short-term. The above numbers show that a flat bettor making 1,000 ten dollar bets will, on average, lose 60 cents less than a Thomason bettor risking the same dollars. Progression books often look at a very small number of hands, say 10,000. Well, for any 10,000 hands it is easy to come up with a system that will win. But, it will only win for that particular 10,000 hands. That doesn't mean it will win for the next 10,000 hands.

Do do you believe in the effectiveness of using math to analyze play?

Others agree with me that Thomason's Progression book is strong:

And the man, the LEGEND himself speaks:

    Walter Thomason September 2003

Interesting posts by all of you... I also feel that both card counting and progressive betting can produce positive outcomes for "serious" recreational players, and that both systems can be employed by the same player at the same time. But most die-hard counters totally discount the potential merits of progressive betting.
There's one argument that I've always questioned: When a progressive bettor claims to be a winner, the counters claim that he hasn't played long enough to verify the value of the system, and has just been "lucky".
At the same time, counters will tell other counters that they should be experiencing positive results after about 80,000 hands of play, and that if they are losing at this point it's only because they've been "unlucky." The same is true of studies comparing the results of different betting systems when small samples (5,000 to 50,000 hands) are used. Counters throw out the findings because millions of hands weren't played, yet no counter has ever played enough hands to verify that computer simulations of millions of hands are providing accurate information. Strange....

Hilarious. Using Amazon ratings to prove something is true. Hitler's book, Mein Kampf, has a four star rating at Amazon with hundreds of posts saying things like finally, the Jews are exposed by Hitler.

    WHY PROGRESSIONS WORK:

    [Link to scam redacted]

    And for you lazy asses:

Back in 1982 to 1984, there was a running debate between blackjack experts on both sides of the progressive betting equation. The card counting contingent of experts concluded that there was no mathematical justification for increasing the bet after either winning or losing the previous hand. They based their argument on Bayes' Theorem which, when applied to the game of blackjack, states that "the chance of a winning hand being followed by another winning hand is no more likely than a losing hand being followed by another losing hand." Based on this logic, there was no reason to increase a bet after winning the previous bet. Over the years, the majority of the blackjack authorities have bought into this line of reasoning and have dismissed any and all inquiries into whether or not progressive betting actually works in practice.
Ironically, Bayes' Theorem is the principle reason why I believe that progressive betting works.
    Follow my logic:

    1. The chances of winning one hand and then losing or winning the next hand are about the same.
    2. Consequently, the chances of winning two consecutive hands or losing two consecutive hands are about the same. Or winning three consecutive hands and then losing three consecutive hands are about the same and so on.
    3. Consequently, the long-term probability is that any blackjack player, regardless of his betting method or the rationale behind it, is likely to win--or lose--about the same number of consecutive hands.
    4. Consequently, if you are betting more money after a winning hand and less money after a losing hand, your average amount wagered during consecutive winning hands will be greater than your average amount wagered during consecutive losing hands and your profits from play will be greater than your losses. It's that simple!

It's called "the fallacy of the maturity of chances". See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambler%27s_fallacy. It's one one the main reasons that casinos make billions. It's been known to be false for centuries.
