How about Hurricane Utah. It is only 24 miles more up the road from St George, and cost of living is a little cheaper, but not by much.

Albee, move to the U.P. You can save $222,200 on housing alone. I did a comparison of Calumet MI (snow belt region in the U.P.) with St George, UT. Heck, with those savings you could afford to hire someone every hour of every day for snow shoveling.

Where do you stay when you go to St George, UT? I was looking at renting a resort condo in the Las Palmas resort. Do you know anything about this place.

I stay at Hilton Garden or Mesquite. I do not know anything about Las Palmas but will check it out. Thanks!

Albee, I see CBJN lists 3 casinos for Mesquite. Have you played in any of them? CBJN implies two are sweaty and are data base participants. Do you think if someone visited the area for about six weeks and maybe played twice a week would they last without getting kicked out?

I've played them all. From what friends have told me. Eureka is the most tolerant. I think twice a week is more than okay......
