    Would you believe this.....

A major casino where they take counter measures when I sit down has now got cut card notches on their 6 deck games, both on main floor and HL rooms and the pen is how over 5.2 decks out of 6. Unbelievable! Deepest I have ever seen.

I managed to win a few times but one smart PB saw through my disguise and I can't play anymore. It's why I am posting this.

It's owned by Penn. A notch that deep is weird. Ploppies were commenting on it! Long had shoe. Dealer said it's uniform at all 6 deck games and he can't cut off more! Poppy wanted less..

Somebody figured out how much it costs in salaries, equipment, and real estate to spend all day shuffling. Paranoia is expensive.

Not at all. Norm summed it up well. Cut deep and protect your games against real threats. That's the way for the casino to maximize EV. The Zender approach.

I thought MO wasn't allowed to back off players.

They dont. They take other counter measures and become real hostile. I find it worse than being backed off. When they shorted the penetration to 1/3 deck, the ploppies ask the dealer why he did it and the dealer says says "they think someone is counting cards" and you are the only one who is winning, who is not playing side bets and looks turn to you, it sucks!

Maybe it's the former cop in me, but fuck them and their looks. They're welcome to get up and leave. I've got skin as thick as leather for fending off the looks and decades of practicing witty and degrading comebacks to be deployed in response to the snide remarks.

Zee why do you care what perfect strangers think? I could give two shits what a perfect stranger whom I will never see again thinks about me. I graduated from Junior high a long time ago...

It has nothing to do with "why do you care what perfect strangers think". Its my preference to spend time in pleasant and harmonious surroundings and avoid hanging out in unpleasant environments. Back in the day, before Norm stepped in, it was difficult hanging out on this forum given the attacks I received but I was learning stuff and in the end, it turned out okay.

Casinos customers, associated with pleasant, and harmonious surroundings, wonders never cease.

Yes, the pleasant environment of breathing a toxic atmosphere and having smoke blown in your face.

So you can play all day even if they know youre counting? Do they flat bet? What all measures do/can they take?

They will flat bet you on double deck or lower the table maximum to $50 on a $25 table. if that doesn't work they will just shuffle after every two or three hands. They will cut a 6 deck shoe in half, and if you don't get the hint they will cut that in half.

The funny thing is the whole table suffers.

That's not what you said...you said it sucks because all the ploppies looked at you. You found THAT unpleasant. All I'm saying is why do you care what they think? Why do you care if they think you're counting cards?

Instead of replying to that, however, you played the victim-on-the-forum card...
