Getting Antsy! Where Are the Losses

The losses are out there. They just have not been coming my way lately. It will be a real downer when they finally do come, and they always do come. However, I have been riding pretty high positive variance lately. I had only one loss in the last 13 times I played, and in those 13 times I played, I averaged a little over $75 an hour. Not bad for red chipping, but it won't last. The year 2019 started out like 2018 and not a loss in sight.

Better knock on some wood.. Lol.

Grats on the good variance. I think you took mine. I'm at like 40% of my EV for the year. My last all time high was the second week of the year too. Maybe this coming week I'll climb past it.

At the end of 2018, I felt burned out. I won but because of conservative approach and travel expenses, and because I had lost my local casinos, I averaged about $20 an hour.

Now, after almost 3 months of minimal playing, I am looking to go on some car trips in the Midwest (OK, Iowa, Indiana, ME etc). Hopefully flooding is not an issue. Searching for advice, tips, etc.

Here's a tip: there are only two casinos in Maine (ME). Don't bother.

Here's another tip - Maine is not in the midwest, so it may take you a bit longer to get there than you thought.

I having opposite results on the same playable game, getting crushed on recent 5 sessions on hi count (HO2) with double and split. Walked away with tail in the legs and very depressed. It wiped my gain of last year. It makes me think Snyder, Bill Zender, Ellot and other are right when they say most counters are losers.

What is with all the negative reviews? Are you jealous because I had good variance over the last couple of years? Believe me, I had many years that variance did not go well for me. I'm giving no advice, just reporting my results since Oct of last year.

Now I do believe 21forme likes to give "not helpful" to my posts along with Zee's, that isn't anything new. Heck, Moses noticed that when he use to be a member here.

I did not neg your post nor Zee's in this thread. I was tempted to suggest it be moved tot he disadvantage section for being voodoo, but I refrained. So how does the lunatic who talks to himself know how post ratings break down? If you believe him, you are as deranged as he is.

I won 2k two days ago. Pretty cool, huh? Hope I don't lose.

    Any difference between our posts?

One difference is you're not still a red chipper after 20+ years of play.

If you started out the year on a really bad note does that mean that you are due for success in the immediate future? I also did not vote no but you still deserved it.

Hey Midwest Player, I’ve got to come clean with you. I gave you one of the unhelpfuls. I saw your post as being your way of giving yourself a backhanded compliment. I thought what was the point? You’ve been playing the game a long time. You know variance goes both ways. The title was cute, but was more what you’d see from a newbie. I don’t even think Zee would start a thread like this. Who knows, I might be wrong.

therefinery post pretty much sums it up.

Well since you have plenty of experience of both positive and negative wild rides throughout your life why are you now thinking Voodoo thoughts?
