Backup all simulation data on CVDATA

I want to perform an uninstallation and reinstall CVDATA 5.0 but I want to keep all my simulation along with the archive simulation data. How do I perform a backup so I can get all the data back after a reinstallation?

Uninstalling and reinstalling any Windows CV product does not lose any sims, configurations, options, logs, strategies, or any other data.

If you wish to add all this data to a daily backup routine, backup c:\ProgramData\qfit.

    NOTE: NOT C:\Program Files\qfit\

If you can’t find the ProgramData directory, which for some idiotic reason Microsoft hides:

    a. Start Button
    b. Control Panel
    c. Click on Appearance and Personalization
    d. Click on Folder Options
    e. Go to the tab View
    f. Check “Hidden files and folders: Show all files and folders”
    g. Click “OK”.

Being a paranoid guy from olden days when disk crashes occurred on a weekly basis (seriously), I backup my PC to an internal drive, and an external drive, and Carbonite in Boston every day. Also, a safe deposit box in the basement of the CitiCorp building on occasion.

So I just copy and replace the qfit folder after I reinstall CV products if files happen to be lost.
