How to delete your own past posts?

How does one go back and delete a post from some months ago? How does one select and delete their own posts from the past?

At the bottom right of your post is a series of options. Choose Edit Post.

That entry brings up new options bottom right that include Delete.

That will bring up an option , A circle with a message, "Delete this post in the following manner".

Click on the circle, then hit "Delete" on the far bottom right.

I just did it with an earlier version of this message. It works.

That above is with messages just posted. I was thinking of posts I had made over the past few years, posts that I regret either because I revealed too much about myself or denigrated some pros here whom I now respect and admire a whole lot (Playing full time requires special skills, I dont have and its not as easy as diligence and study, its intrinsic qualities as well

Most sites do not allow deletes after a short period of time. We allow post deletes forever as that is what the users have stated that they want, and makes sense considering the possible sensitivity of posts here. Now, if you are talking about posts that start a new thread; that's different. Once a thread has been started and there are responses, you cannot remove the post. If the thread includes serious problems, you can request that the entire thread be deleted. That occurs about once a year.

Once I find the page that lists all the posts I made, how do I go about removing any?
