i understand that DON . i am just guessing with the inefficiency of the transfer of money their combined Ev may not be 10x as effective as a single player . There would be downtime waiting for money since each player is not really holding onto 100k . Not true, consider each member invested 20K but is left with 10K as an individual bankroll to play at team risk stakes. The remaining team bank is held be team manager who has the resposibility for moving money between players as needed.

Just use your own bankroll and find a couple people willing to be your spotter and pay them hourly. It's not that hard to find people that are competent enough to play BS with minimum bet. Do a bit of networking and find out who is a bit desperate for money. Most people will do anything when it comes to guaranteed $$$.
i am just thinking there's gonna be some inefficiency somewhere and theory is always sound better than practice. i am not arguing with people that know a lot about this. i am just stating my thoughts and saying don't be overly optimistic.
Of course it is. Bigger bankroll = bigger spreads. He was stating that he doesn't know any card counters so that already puts the idea of others with a bankroll out of the question. I was saying just find a couple spotters to spot for you so you can have the team experience with being able to put a bigger spread on the table without drawing heat too quickly. Yes, you're losing EV by paying for spotters by the hour, but I think if you put in the effort to train some spotters, it's definitely worth it to be able to spread more and have more longevity at some of the casinos that you live close too.
Yes and no. I would say, at the lowest levels, it helps linearly, as in -- if you have 2x the bankroll, then you'll make 2x the EV. Higher up, the gain can be better than that, because you may now have access to better games due to higher limits (green chip tables as opposed to red chip tables.......less crowding/faster game as well as better rules). Then when you go even higher, the gain may not be as much because you start to get limited on either table maximums or heat. Regardless, if you don't increase your bets but still chop with someone, then you'll be able to smooth out the variance.

Sounds great in theory , very hard to make it work.i hardly do team play with others any more, Just one good play is enough for people to back stab you and burn the game without telling you, it almost never work. I am sure there are exceptions, how the hell does a member of a team get 10x the effect . there will be fingers pointing, funds unaccounted for , Trust is the biggest issues. There are countless stories of deceit. It is still a very attractive option even if only getting 50% effectiveness.

Perhaps he really did not know what you meant by "inefficiency" since you could have been referring to many things. Maybe you should have itemized your list for him back then like you just did. He would likely have politely addressed each one.
