Cant say that I have - however - I do confess to just now squandering this months gross profit on a nice prime rib dinner. Wife had an incredible chicken pot pie - I know because I sampled it New top end restaurant in our neighborhood with a background of light piano jazz

As I’ve often espoused, with an arsenal of weapons in my personal toolkit, EV exceeds simulation.

I think I know what you are getting at here, but a link to a post where you explain what you are doing if one exists. If not a short, rough guide to your exploits would be very interesting if wouldn't mind. We don't need to know specifics that might compromise your plays obviously.

Beating sims is easy. Determination of whether RC is going up or down is paramount to success. Monster counts with True continuing to rise is not advantageous to that point in time - advantage presents itself as count decreases - rather I’ve articulated many times about various theories, some well received such as opposition betting (Blackbelt in Blackjack), dual ramp or variable single ramp - others not so well received such as concept of QTC (quality of true count), FBM ASC Advanced.

The biggest issue is a view that simulations essentially incorporating the theory that maximum success is predicated on knocking it out of the park each and every time at bat. My view is that limits long term success to a value arrived at by simulation. Further, maximizing revenue is more about results over N sessions.

After meticulous record keeping over several years, I determined weaknesses in my game. My average dollar loss exceeded the inverse of my average dollar win by a significant margin, though I was blessed with a higher than average % session win rate. I calculated profit increase on an ever increasing % session win rate with a continuing reduction of average $ win accompanied by a significantly greater $ loss %. My pet theories evolved - Improved results were staggering.

Here are some links to a couple of threads.

And so, the game is afoot, and I am agog with anticipation.

About Blackjack: The Forum

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
