Take the original 1000-unit bank and reduce it 375. Leave e.v. and s.d. the same.

    here is the link shortcut

    https://www.card-counting.com/blackj...culator-c2.htm

375 units (that's 15K left of 40K assuming $40 units), 1 unit win rate per 100 hands, 17 SD per 100 hands, calculates to
    = 7.44% Risk of Ruin

What do you mean by that? Do you mean that your max bet should be 1% of your total bankroll?

After losing 62.5% of his BR two things are both true. His RoR from when he had 2.67 times the BR he has now is unaffected, and his RoR from this point forward is 7.4%. Obviously the current RoR is more applicable to his current situation.

He technically has a 7.4% chance of losing what he has left if he doesn't resize no matter what his RoR used to be.

Without an infinite bankroll 0% ror does not exist.

Precisely. Guarantees your risk of ruin is at least more than reasonable.
