    Angry Death Penalty for AP

So I was foolishly playing rated at a nearby casino I had not visited in years, freely spreading from $10 - $150. I sensed no heat, and really what damage could my meager bets do against an 8 deck shoe? I concluded the (bigly) losing session and as I left was accosted by a pit critter, who informed me I was banned. No warning, no mercy. Who knew such injustice exists in the world?

My question: I would like to continue playing at another casino in the same state as above, as the missus and I enjoy going there. Do you think I will be allowed to play there, unrated now of course? I would even flat bet if necessary.

It depends on whether they shared the info and whether the casino getting the info do their own assessment or just ban you because of the sharing of info. If you have played rated at the other casino they may know you whether you play rated or not.

A betting spread of 15 to 1, well that can’t be the reason you were bounced. A pit boss or counter catcher probably just got lucky

As a thought, the next time you play, you might consider not wearing your Blackjack Forum tee shirt or your Stanford Wong Professional Blackjack baseball cap

If worse comes to worst, you could try reading the Camouflage chapter in Blackjack Attack 3. Should you get thrown out a few more times, you will probably have to start using a Lone Ranger style mask in the casinos to keep from being recognized

    Good Luck

I was once barred in a matter of five (5)minutes, after playing very light green action,
having played for 40 minutes at a sister property, a full twelve (12) yrs. prior!

Those who been there done that please give advice to newbie about got backedoff. Ok, I understand you got to have acts, covers that discuses in many books and threads. However, do you come back to places you that ban you? What to do if you come back? how long after ban you come back?. Any advice is greatly appreciated. One place warned me if I play BJ at their casino I would be treated as trespass.

These days, what's the worst that can happen if you want back. What do you think the order are that one of these would happen.

    1. They don't notice and you can keep playing.

    2. They notice you the very first time you return.

    3. They notice you sometime in the future and back you off again with a stern warning.

    4. They notice and trespass you.

I get countermeasures at local casinos if they notice me. Sometimes this is right away and sometimes after a while. I still get to walk away with any wins. I live in a state where they can't ban you.

One casino put me on a database but there have been no after effects. Sister properties of the casino that put me on OSN let me play. I still get comped in many casinos. In Las Vegas, even in mild disguise, a casino pit guy introduced himself to me and just flat bet me. I walked over to the sister casino on either side of that one and played with no problems.

Maybe casinos have decided to make their own decisions/evaluations. My suggestion is to go try it.

In the state where this occurred, they CAN ban you. The casino used the phrase "permanently trespassed". If I return to the property it is a felony , in theory.

Did they have you sign anything? Worst that I think could happen is that they will threaten to call the cops and you should leave then. They are not likely to call cops for someone willingly departing quietly. Unless you have a criminal record, the cops, if called, will warn you and that's about it.

No harm trying once. They might have forgotten you. Play with a smaller spread, leave with a small win.

If you are banned or trespassed, do not go back. They can and will arrest you.

If you were backed off, wait several years before trying.

Obviously play with no card. Even if they don't recognize you, the BO is noted on your card.

Don't try to have a BO reversed. Think about it, would a ploppy try and have it reversed? No, they would just move to the next casino. You're signing your own death warrant. And if you get trespassed, that will never be reversed, so don't poke the bear.

Seriously, give it three or more years before you attempt to come back.
