    Deviations

Does the illustrious 18 rely on true count, running count or both? I know to take insurance on a true 3 or higher, but do the others rely on running count? I don't really understand how to read the deviation table.

All the indices in the book, p. 213, are for true count, Hi-Lo. If the TC is greater than or equal to the index for the play in question, you either: stand, double, split, surrender, or insure.

    Clear?

You're basically asking Don a question that you can google search in 3 seconds. That's pretty bad even for a guy named layzee.

You can see all the Hi-Opt II indices in the Casino Verite demos by permission of the author.
