After years and years of hanging out in Vegas and being hit on countless times. I finally caved in to temptation. One gal hit me up that I found to be extremely attractive and yes, about half my age. We talked for a while, exchanged cell numbers and agreed to meet me at casino X the next night.

Next night comes around. She texts me says she will be there around 6'ish. "Okay sounds good" I say. So 6pm rolls around I'm looking and looking. Don't see her. I give up and start walking the strip scouting tables looking for beatable games. Get back to casino X about 10pm and not thinking of her anymore when low and behold I practically step on her cutting thru the tables heading to my room.

So for some small talk and to break the ice we sit down at a Free Bet Blackjack table and play cards for a half hour or so, just chatting and killing time. After agreeing on a price. Eventually we head up to my the room. She turned out to be quite the talker and we chatted for a good hour or maybe 2 in the room. So we take a shower then get in bed. And I'm not kidding when I say the sex was outstanding! Afterwards I don't want her to leave. I ask her to sleep with me for the night and told her I would give almost triple the money of what we talked about. She agreed. We slept until around noon. Then got up took another shower together and had some very hot sex again. After that we parted ways. This is where it got bad.

So I start my usual routine of walking the strip and hole carding. The day turns into evening I head to my room to get some sleep. I wake up later in the night. Now during the day I had been losing money. So I go into my room safe to get more cash and guess what? No cash in the safe! I was stunned, shocked, numb, whatever. I could not believe it. 4 grand gone but my credit cards were still there. Fortunately it was not all my money. I had cash in a safe deposit box at the cage. But still was rattled and upset none the less.

I made several mistakes that night. If I had thought it out better I could have avoided the theft and still had all the great sex. Here are the mistakes I made.

    1. Just don't mess around with prostitutes
    2. When I checked into my room I used a kiosk. And it gave me two keys. The extra one I left by the TV in the room. Which she took and then came back later when I wasn't around and stole the money.
    3. If you are gonna have hooker in the room. Leave all your money(except for the agreed upon price or whatever you are willing to have stolen)and CC's in safe deposit box at the cage.

So in the end it was a embarrassing incident to say the least. After realizing the theft I texted her and told her. "You would have made a lot more money from me in the long run if you had not stole from me". Of course she never replied back. Lesson learned like I said.
Consider it a lucky lesson learned. It could’ve been A LOT worse.

I know a professional poker player who had his drink spiked or something (he never quite figured it out). But surveillance tapes showed him bringing two hookers back to his room. He doesn’t remember what happened after that (so he says). When he woke up the next day, he found his $36,000 from his safe gone. To add insult to injury, the security where he was staying (Hard Rock) did not seem to care, and almost would not call the police. When the police arrived, they were extremely apathetic to the whole situation. They said this happens a lot, and recovery of funds are slim to none.

Everyone has to remember, no matter how good the sex is. No matter how genuine the person appears. No matter how cheery and talkative (probably from all the cocaine they take) they’re still doing what they are doing for a reason, and it’s not because they're outstanding citizens.

Always keep eyes on ANY belongings with hookers. I have found the hooker scene in Las Vegas compared to other cities to be very bad. They’re all looking to somehow screw you over and they’ll advertise one thing and then once you pay, demand more money or something. It seems to be unique to Vegas, but I guess that’s just the way it is there.

If you are going to utilize a hooker, your best bet is to go with a legitimate “escort agency” who has a reputation to uphold and the escorts information should something bad arise.

Hookers are disreputable individuals for the most part.
I know also that many times security, or hotel employees will be in on the theft too if the hooker approaches them. Remember these people make minimum wage.

A couple of years ago during the World Series of Poker in Vegas, a bunch of professional players had someone just walk in their rooms and steal all their cash out of their safes at the Rio while they were downstairs playing. Of course the Rio did not catch the robber(s) even with the abundance of cameras they have (gimme a break). That whole incident reeked of an inside job. Of course the casino/hotels don’t usually want to help you because 1. They could know security/employee is in on it, and that opens them up to huge liability and lawsuit. 2. The security personnel on property that you report the thefts to may very well be in on the theft.

A former BJ teammate of mine was staying at the Rio once and left about $4,000 on his dresser, along with a $300 pair of sunglasses. He went into the bathroom to take a shower. When he got out, everything on the dresser was gone. So definitely keep your eyes open at the Rio as I’m fairly certain inside jobs are common place there.

What I always do when I travel is never use the safe. If a robber gets into my room the first place they are going for is the safe. I usually will stash my cash in a private compartment that’s not easy to find, even if you ripped my room apart. Without getting too specific, this usually means hidden compartments in your luggage, hidden areas in your clothes, hidden in your stack of dirty underwear, or a place in the room a thief wouldn’t think to look. Just always keep it on your person with something like a zipper jacket, man purse, or whatever you want to utilize that you carry everywhere with you. This is what I do.

My advice is stay away from the safes in general, and always keep your eyes and ears open. Never let your guard down. Especially for some of us who carry life changing amounts of money in cash. This is not just about prostitution, but also a good general rule. For example after a big win and get my chips cashed out, I always look around if someone is watching me or following me, or following me while on a cellphone. I’ll take a detour if I suspect someone.

Keeping your money on your person wherever you go is always best imho. Another option is to keep the money in high denomination chips since no hooker is gonna be able to break down a 5k chip or 1k chips and get away with cashing it in without drawing some very serious attention. Though this is usually burdensome, so I just keep the cash on me at all times.

That's why you should always lock the deadbolt and/or chain when in your room.

The hotel could probably tell from cameras who entered the room. Kind of hard to get the cops involved when you were doing something illegal.
First off the police won’t care. This happens a million times a day in Las Vegas and they aren’t going to call in an APB to find some hustlers mug because a tourist was careless. Secondly, if he does want some kind of record and to call the police, he can tell them he had dinner with an “escort” and then watched a movie back in his room. The Police in Las Vegas honestly couldn’t give two sh*ts about your prostitution rendezvous. The police have much more important things to do and worry about.

However the OP did say he has her phone number. If I had the phone number of the individual who robbed me, I would probably text her that I’m going to the police with her number and will have her tracked down if she doesn’t return the money. I think that’s probably a good strategy if you still have time in LV left. If she still doesn’t respond, I wouldn’t count out calling the cops and supplying them with her phone number and explaining that this individual came into your room and stole money from you.

I arrived to a locked safe once. They sent a guy up that opened it in a second. He wouldn't let me watch so I don't know what he did.

Perfect example of why you should NOT use the safes. The OP should threaten the hooker by text that he’s going to the police with her number to claim his stolen money if she does not return it. Even if OP is scared to actually go to the police, assuming it’s not a throw away phone this will scare the crap out of the hooker.

Lots of guys just end up getting robbed.
Here's a link to this year's podcast. Ace goes off on a tangent about the GFE, and how millennial guys are foolish to allow this to happen (starting around the 1 hour 5 minutes mark).

Hookers won't have any trouble breaking down 1k chips and many probably know enough people that breaking down 5ks would be easy too
If they see 1k and 5k chips they're going to steal them and worry about how to cash them out later
