If you have a few thousand in BR already, you can play low stakes and earn minimum wage, maybe more. But you also get a lot of practice time so when your bankroll is high enough you're good enough to play it!

Many folks have a monthly car payment (loan) and, next to their housing expense, it's one of the highest monthly outages they have but they refuse to sacrifice in the short-term & drive a less-than-desirable vehicle. However, if you can swallow your pride, sell the current "nicer" car to get rid of the monthly payment and drive a lower-priced vehicle without a monthly loan payment it can really help to accelerate building your bankroll (especially considering the average car payment is a few hundred bucks a month!)...

Some will disagree, and I'm not saying to drive a complete POS, but do you REALLY need that fancy pants vehicle right now when you could be stashing that monthly payment away in savings each month & drive a 'decent' car for now w/ no loan payment? It's something to think about, anyway...

I recommend getting a 2010-13 ford focus. You can find them at auctions for 1000/ online. They last long time. Im kinda a mechanic though. They are like the honda civics but a little bigger. Find a car with some body damage but in go shape other wise. Then go to a pick an pull and swap out the bad parts. Its very satisfying.

I'll make you the same offer I gave my kids. I like my car washed on Thursday's and my yard mowed on Wednesday's. I pay extra for wax and landscaping.

Go to your local thrifts and start getting familiar with different type of items. "Sold," is the bread and butter for most of your items on ebay.

Some place in Idaho got a bizarre amount of snow in just a couple or few days.

I think that is was around 8 to 9 feet ! I am used to sub-zero temps but in Western

New York State there are places that exceed 120" a year, but that's > average.
