They were counting. In fact, they approached me after the back off to ask me what happened and confirmed they were also counting. I probably shouldn't have remained at the table with them once I identified them as counters - my mistake. This happened exactly 11 months ago, though, so I think I'd be safe to return. The only bad thing is they took note of my passport details (I foolishly gave it to them earlier on in the session after being asked at the tables. Not being from the USA, I'm not sure what the deal is with handing over ID at the tables when asked.) Should that in itself be a concern? Does T.I share info?

Maybe you acted like a counter! Moved your lips, used chips to side count, while the others were counting drunk. Any number of factors.

As far as the passport issue us concerned, we all do dumb things at times. Even Zee is learning fr9m his transgressions.

Doesn't mean they were doing it correctly or with an edge. Nobody playing a winning game lasts at TI.

Actually, quite the opposite. I had ordered a number of drinks (I can tolerate alcohol very well). I was playing the drunk act. They were just blatantly going from min to max. Perhaps they hadn't been there long enough for an evaluation. I had been playing for 3 days straight, albeit on the H17 game. The back off happened as soon as I moved to S17, within an hour.

It sounds like they watch the S17 game and not so much the H17 game. That can be useful info. Can anyone else confirm this hypothesis?

On a side note, would them getting a copy of my passport have implications playing there in future, or any other place in Vegas? I go approx. once a year only.

It’s not the issue of playing there - it’s the issue of playing elsewhere. It really depends on what they did with the info. FIND an independant don5 give a shit if they back you off store, making sure they’re a database participant, get a card and see if they back you off in 10 minutes - then you’ll know.

    Henceforth, play unrated.

Nah, they had 3 days to watch his play, didn’t care about his tight spread on H17, which he likely beat, considered his beat8 * the lower edge S17 even more and took counter measures.

If he played the drunk act, ........... well maybe they would take exception.

Fwiw, when i come 2 vegas 3 or 4 times a year, i get stay at harrahs and play the dd games at harrahs, flamingo (pitch), and Cromwell. Great rules compared 2 the shitty dd games in Chicagoland, where im from. Anyway, I've never been backed off b-4. But, when some of the crews at flamingo start 2 sweat me they just start cutting the shoe in half......50%p. I play 3 or 4 more min bets and leave. Why would they need 2 back off an ap from a dd game?

TR DD is indeed H17 NDAS.

Chicago has THE BEST game in the Midwest.... you're looking in the wrong area. Think crappy casino.

You can find similar games in the strip for $50 (early AM) or $100. In Chicago it's $25.
