Cool in reno, i was the ONLY player at my table being offered 3-2 instead of 6-5

u might wonder why this would make me uncomfortable, it was because i thought the others players would notice, resent me for getting a better rate (i guess those heavy losses of 1 third of my lifes savings and networth 3 years ago finally paid off) and complain enough to make the lady who runs the pit not do it for me anymore, but she remembered the heavy loss of 15,000 which kind of destroyed my life ever since. and i dont think she realized i was counting, and varying how i played the hands according to the count because i was insisting on playing a shoe instead of 1 or 2 decks, (most counters dont do this) and also because i was martingaling my bets, (but of course never on bad counts, only on good counts). but it doesnt look like you're counting when u reduce bets at times when the count still goes up. of course, i was reducing the bets to 2 hands of $25, instead of to 1 spot of $10 on good counts, so im still getting in much larger bets and flat betting the minimum on bad counts. sometimes i was raising the bet $1 after a loss on bad counts, and briefly to 2 spots so it would look like im still martingaling when im not.

however the others at my table were completely oblivious and never said a word when they got $6 on a $5 bet while i got $7.50. i wonder what each new dealer who came into the box thought? the sign said 6-5 and she told me the day before she couldnt find a spare 3-2 sign for shoes since they got rid of all their 3-2 shoes. i asked a few friends about this on twitter and found out the casino was doing this legally, i was surprised it was. but i still wonder what theyll do in the future. sooner or later theyll suspect me of having an edge, even though ive lost more often than not at blackjack in the past, regardless of how much of the money goes in at an edge in my favor.

The pit boss lady did this for you to keep you on the hook for the -ev game you’re playing by red chipping and martingale on only positive counts. What are you even doing at a 6:5 table to begin with. Also RIP someone from that pit will probably read this post and they’ll know exactly who you are

i never was ever playing 6-5 i had them switch it to 3-2 before i sat. she just didnt have a sign for 3-2. and once i sat, others later joined the game. hows it minus ev when i flat bet the minimum when its negative and my average bet when its plus ev is at least a few times the minimum most of the time and sometimes on rare occasions when ive not won in a while 100x the minimum or higher?

This is more gambing than card counting, for two reasons: (1) it doesn't matter whether you won a ton in a row or lost a ton in a row, you should only be betting higher when the count is higher., regardless of # of wins or losses (2) you probably don't have the bankroll to sustain a 1:100 spread, since the majority of your results will be based on these hands, with not enough bankroll to cover the giant swings. I'd re-evaluate your game plan before proceeding further and losing more money

i always flat bet the minimum until the count is plus one or more, or on rare occasions when the previous shoes stayed negative throughout, on the first hand of the new deck or decks. so pretty much all of the big money is only going in in good situations. and i think i do have enough of a bankroll since i flew to reno from detroit with 18k and now have 23k. although the blackjack here isnt quite as good of rules as the casino in turtle creeks blackjack games were they sure are beatable.

How would this be an advantageous situation?

doing it every once in a while on the first hand is great cover, and u can then decide whether to cut back to 1 spot of the min bet if the counts bad. or double up or triple up even more if the counts good

mainly what i wondered though, is hasnt anyone else ever heard of a situation where only 1 person at the table gets 3-2 while everyone else doesnt or is it only happening to me? i hear NV allows this legally though a lot of states do not.

Something is just not right in the story. The payoff should be written on the table felt and should apply to everyone without exception.
