On my summer visit it was actually quite a nice summer day. However, I didn't like the heat in the casino when they backed me off especially since I was down over $1,000 at the time.

The last time I was there was only a few months after my back off. We were on a trip to visit my son in early winter and we made Turtle Lake our halfway stop. I had my wife get a players card so we could get the players card special hotel rate of $35 a night. I never used my player's card at all. However, I had my Yooper Chook hat on so I looked different and I left it on all the while I played. Didn't get any heat from the pit. I didn't win much that night either. I was chicken to spread much. I just checked my records for that day and they show a $25 win with hotel cost of $35. I don't remember if I netted the hotel cost out of the win or not. But the important thing was I could play unrecognized.

Need cover, get a Yooper Chook.

You know it is cold when your pee freezes before it hits the ground when you pee out of your tree stand.

Or more. I know all of the COLD spots. Keep in mind that 6 of the Canadian Provinces, and all of the territories (Yukon and Northwest Territories) are individually significantly larger, in area, than the largest US States, and there is lots of open land.

Not necessarily true, provided your significant other is doing the hand writing.

Here is a list of the coldest temperatures in WI. Notice Cumberland WI which is only 13 miles from Turtle Lake has a low temp of -52 and Danbury, WI which is the location of Turtle Lakes sister casino has a low temp of -54.
    http://www.aos.wisc.edu/~sco/clim-hi...STA-TX-EX.html

Now MI on the other hand is always warmer than WI because the Great Lakes keep it warmer. The coldest temp in MI will be found near the WI-MI border or near Gaylord, MI. Now if you are planning an April blackjack trip to the good 'ol U.P. be forewarned. Just this year a new record low was set for the month of April (maybe only 2nd best) and a week later we got dumped on with over 2 feet of snow.

So Zee if you are still planning that midwest blackjack trip I mapped out for you might consider waiting until May.

Zee doesn't like it when people drag his name into a thread. Or at least he says that.

Hilarious Freighter. Do those fur-lined jock straps require suspenders to hold them up during times of shrinkage?

The thought is certainly worthy of a patent extension. To date, power golf tees only, professionally installed in the drivers seat of ones car, have been utilized. The purpose, of course, is to hold your balls up while driving.

Please note the deluxe power golf tees are also equipped with dual ball height controls, to allow for individual ball height differentials.

He’s sort of a God in my eyes. He beats to his own drummer and is not intimidated by others. He speaks his mind and says what I think others think but are afraid to say. I’ve learned a lot from Zee. And I’ve incorporated a lot of his advice into my play. I think some of his best advice is to play bj for more than just money. Btw, Arnold Snyder has given some of the same advice. I’m reading a book by Arnold Snyder (Blackbelt in Blackjack) and found this quote: “If you’re not in it for the fun as much as the money, you’ll never make it as a counter”. Wow, this could have been written by Zee himself.

I wonder when Zee is coming out with his book. If Zee ever decides to write one, I’ll be first in line to buy it and hopefully get an autographed copy.
