By the way, if you think a trip report on Wendover is going to kill the game, think again. They tried tightening up the rules a few years ago and it was a disaster. Revenue dropped and a few years later they went back to to good old rules. Now what might happen if everyone says it is the greatest candy store in the USA, they might just clean house like they did when DD's team hit the town. I remember Jimmy Burns saying he got caught up in that house cleaning.

It was Jimmy Burns who first made me aware of Wendover many years ago. He was an attorney from Milwaukee WI. I never had a chance to meet him in person, but I did share private emails with him. He also had a private blackjack site for several years that I was a member of. I noticed his obit recently. I hope he is now in a place where all blackjacks pay 2:1 and no backoffs.
