    RCJH,

When you said, "... so I got a hotel room and played there unrated...", did you mean you got a room at the casino and then played unrated at the same casino? If so, they may have identified you based on the information you provided at check-in.

FR is alive and well in Biloxi, MS. The Beau, Hard Rock, & the one before it became Horseshoe. Kicked out of all three in 50 minutes.

A troller who baits, and who has served his apprenticeship and has become a journey troller, is known thereafter as a Master Baiter.

About three years ago, Silver Star, Philadelphia, MS, kicked me out for being “on a list of advantage players”. That ended my comps anywhere. I can no longer identify myself anywhere. I stay in nearby no-tell motels, pay for all my meals and transportation. I know not to even ask. FR is the biggest threat. Has ID’d me maybe five times.

No, I rented a room at a hotel chain, unaffiliated with the casino.

Also, the casino unit in question has sent me offers to return.

AND, although I have a credit card that earns points at this chain, I was careful to use a different card for the entirety of the trip.

I seriously think they use FR at least for higher tier players.

Most players are being caught by license plate scanners than by FR.

Perhaps, but this is a rapidly changing countermeasure with FR gaining use.
Luck is nothing more than probability taken personally!

It was addressed to 21for me and not you. In any case, Norm addressed it and it's over. I was not thinking of you when I made the post.

Yes, people always talk about authoritarian surveillance states like China, totally oblivious to what is happening right under their noses. And literally at that.

True. China still does not have as many cameras, and its still possible to be anonymous there. Now, its near impossible to live off the grid. Cant have a car or bank account or credit card and be anonymous here.

Why pay to set up a surveillance network when people will pay to create it for you?

About bank/credit cards, watch them become increasingly integrated with us/a part of us in the name of fraud prevention or convenience.

About Blackjack: The Forum

BJTF is an advantage player site based on the principles of comity. That is, civil and considerate behavior for the mutual benefit of all involved. The goal of advantage play is the legal extraction of funds from gaming establishments by gaining a mathematic advantage and developing the skills required to use that advantage. To maximize our success, it is important to understand that we are all on the same side. Personal conflicts simply get in the way of our goals.
