    Recreational player needs advice

Almost ready to get more serious about AP ,I’m comfortable with the count and basic strategy, I can recognize good tables rules and Pen but I need to learn to assigned a house edge Percentage number to it,, What kind of house age percentage is a good enough today to be a playable table, And Arnold Snyder had a unbalance count called the red seven account,What are you guys thank about those count ?If you’re familiar with it, would it be accurate enough? Sorry if it’s a foolish question but in away I’m just getting started and I’ve never even talk to another AP player before And I need to listen to good advice

Rules are only one of several factors which determine a game's playability. The other two important considerations are penetration and game speed. Aim for 0.6% or below, and never play anything higher than 1%.

Game speed is unimportant to a whole lot of recreational counters who simply do not want to lose, not concerned by hourly win rate.

Forget the house edge, thinking about it is just retarded. Anyone who says not to play a game with a HE greater than 'X' is a fool. Sorry, but it's true. Focus on what advantage you can get and obviously EV.

Get CVCX and sim different games that are available to you. Tweak the bet ramp, if necessary, until the stats given are playable to you. Not all games are going to be playable. Playability is subjective, as everyone is in a different boat.

Id say thats definitely more true when u have a bankroll thats big enough that u can employ a wide bet spread without it greatly affecting your ROR.

For more limited bankrolls id try to stick to the games with the lowest HE u can find. That way u will get a better EV for your bankroll along with acceptable an ROR.

Thanks for the response,, Gulfcoast is where I usually go But it’s about a 4 1/2 hour drive from me, it’s getting a little harder to find a table with good rules along with good pen, usually the best is the smaller casinos DD games, I hope after all the studying and practicing there are still some playable tables left out there, I Want to throw some questions out there every once in a while,
